  Improving the quality of patient care is at the forefront of initiatives in today’s healthcare organization. Evaluating outcomes and ensuring safety are directly linked to good patient care and bottom line issues, such as prospective payment contracts and length-of-stay. For example, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has created quality measurement and pay-for-performance systems that require monitoring quality indicators. The only tools currently available to manage these critical initiatives involve the burdensome and expensive task of reading large amounts of patient information to find vital clinical nuggets.

ENDATA’s Quality Management Portal enhances quality improvement studies by including unstructured notes and reports. Individual studies can be designed and tailored, each with its own unique parameters. Specific clinical terms and concepts can be tracked and analyzed.
